Join ArtWalla and Heidi Veldhuis for a guided stroll through Walla Walla’s abundant public art. Wander through Whitman College and Main Street, discovering local favorites that highlight the valley’s vibrant arts community.
Finish by meeting local artist Candace Rose at the Noodle Grotto Studio, 13 ½ E. Main St. (located upstairs in the Barrett Bldg., above Bright’s Candies.) Candace’s assemblage art is part Walla Walla history, part Walla Walla culture, part “one man’s junk is...” As the winner of multiple People’s Choice awards, her ability to re-imagine the mundane will amaze and delight you. Even signing the guest book in her historic space is a unique experience. Plan to spend some time here!
